Live music, real cider and great sausages - on August 25 and 26 2018.

Live music, 30+ real ciders, and great sausages - the annual Hinckley sausage and cider festival is back over the August Bank Holiday weekend in 2018 on Saturday August 25 and Sunday August 26.

Ciders sourced from artisan producers around the country, including a mouth-watering range of fruit ciders and sparkling craft cider. Food stalls selling a variety of sausages - from artisan hot dogs to Polish kielbasa, Boerewors to Bratwurst.

There will be inflatable fun for children.  Charges apply to these activities.

How it works

Buy in advance - and save money.

You can buy tickets in advance or pay on the day. The festival is supporting grass roots sport in Leicester as it helps to raise money for Hinckley RFC.

No-one under the age of 18 is permitted to drink or be served alcohol. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the festival. All bags will be checked on arrival.

Cider is available to take away in two pint containers. Lager, beer and a range of other alcoholic and soft drinks will be available from the club bar.

The cider bar runs on a token system. Each token buys one half pint of cider. Tokens can be bought in advance - 5 tokens for £9 - or on the day - 5 tokens for £10 or 11 tokens for £20. Unused tokens are not refundable but can be donated to charity. Tokens are on sale in the tent next to the cider bar.

Feel free to bring camping chairs, picnic rugs and sun shades - whatever makes you feel comfy! Sorry but no picnic hampers or dogs!

Please drink reponsibly.

Hinckley RFC in Leicester Road, Hinckley, LE10 3DR.

There is ample, free parking at the club.

Children from 2 to 12 can have unlimited play for half an hour for £5. Adults must remain with their children and there is a maximum number of children per session. Rules apply.

Sorry, it is a pooch free party.

Anyone who appears under the age of 21 will be asked to provide identity to prove they are over 18. This rule will be strictly enforced.
