WHAT'S HAPPENING

Live music, 30+ real ciders, and great sausages - the annual Brackley sausage and cider festival is back in 2018 on Saturday August 18.

30+ real ciders sourced from artisan producers around the country, including a mouth-watering range of fruit ciders and sparkling craft cider.

Food stalls selling a variety of sausages - from artisan hot dogs to Polish kielbasa.

How it works

 You can buy in advance or pay on the day.

Adults tickets are £6. You can buy in advance or pay on the day.  Kids are free. The festival is supporting grass roots sport in south Northants by helping to raise funds for Brackley RFC.



No-one under the age of 18 is permitted to drink or be served alcohol. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the festival. All bags will be checked on arrival.

Cider is available to take away in two pint containers. Cider ranges from £3.60 to £4 a pint.

The cider bar runs on a token system. Each token buys one half pint of cider. Tokens can be bought in advance - 5 tokens for £9 - or on the day - 5 tokens for £10 or 11 tokens for £20. Tokens are not refundable but can be donated to charity.

Lager, beer and a range of other alcoholic and soft drinks will be available from the club bar.

Feel free to bring camping chairs, picnic rugs and sun shades. Sorry but no picnic hampers or dogs.

LOCATION

The festival takes place at Brackley RFC, Fine Lady Fields, Nightingale Close, Brackley, NN13 6PN.

There will be a bouncy castle, facepainting and lots of room for children to run around.

Sorry, it is a pooch free party.

UNDER AGE POLICY

Anyone who appears under the age of 21 will be asked to provide identity to prove they are over 18. This rule will be strictly enforced.

1pm - Barney Newman - up-tempo folksy roots: 

3pm - James Chapman and the Blue Moon - foot-stomping, cider-suppping, country blues and Americana ballads

5pm - The Retrobaits - get ready to shake, rattle and roll. Vintage rock and roll and rockabilly trio.

7pm - Distorted Decade - non-stop covers fronted by the irrepressible Luke Girvan
