Live music, real cider and great sausages - on Friday July 27 and Sat July 28.

Live music, 30+ real ciders, and great sausages - the annual Blaby sausage and cider festival is back in 2018 on Friday July 27 and Saturday July 28.

Ciders sourced from artisan producers around the country, and local makers in the Midlands, including a mouth-watering range of fruit ciders and sparkling craft cider.

Food stalls selling a variety of sausages - from artisan hot dogs to Polish kielbasa, Boerewors to Bratwurst.

How it works

Buy tickets online - and save money.

You can buy tickets in advance or pay on the day. The festival is supporting grass roots sport in Leicester as it helps to raise money for Vipers RFC.

No-one under the age of 18 is permitted to drink or be served alcohol. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the festival. All bags will be checked on arrival.

Cider is available to take away in two pint containers. Cider ranges from £3.60 to £4 a pint. Lager, beer and a range of other alcoholic and soft drinks will be available from the club bar.

The cider bar runs on a token system. Each token buys one half pint of cider. Tokens can be bought in advance - 5 tokens for £9 - or on the day - 5 tokens for £10 or 11 tokens for £20. Unused tokens are not refundable, but can be donated to charity. The token tent is beside the main bar.

Feel free to bring camping chairs, picnic rugs and sun shades - whatever makes you feel comfy! Sorry but no picnic hampers or dogs!

Please drink reponsibly.
